Alright, so the next week is going to be fun for me. My boss was on vacation over the last week and I was so damn busy that I didn’t even finish the next chapter [87] and I certainly didn’t have a chance to work on any of my other projects.

A big chunk of that is my fault, really. Why I thought staying up all day Tuesday after being up all night I’ll never understand. I was up for 33 hours and managed to write like 10% of a chapter because I was too preoccupied by not falling asleep to focus on the story.

It was a fun stream, though, even if I’m sure there were moments I had dozed of for a second or two. Part of me wants t ogo back and check, the other reminds me that I dont’ have the time.

My ego is also adamant that I did no such thing and was perfectly coherent and aware the entire time. I think it’s lying but I like what it’s telling me so we’ll go with that.

I really need to get to bed because I have once again managed my time poorly, so I’ll try to keep this as brief as I can while covering everything that needs to be mentioned.

First, the commentary for chapter 81 has been posted. If you need a little pre-chapter reading or think the chapter is missing something- like an unnecessarily long AN- go ahead and check it out.

Next, I spent an hour playing around on the site and managed to get a basic forum set up. Eyazahrids’ Project board is accessible through the link at the top of the page or at . It’s empty at the moment, but I figure this would probably work better than the Google Drive folder I had set up.

Haven’t had time to post things for either, but hopefully soon.

If you have any ideas or challenges you’d like to share with the community feel free to post them under the Eyazahrids’ Community Projects thread. I don’t think you can post on the other two, but in case you can please don’t. I’m going to be using those so you can see the projects I’m currently workign on and the ones i plan to do as soon as I have the time.

Third, I don’t have any Bonsai pics for you this week but next week brings us into June which means the girls are due for some new soil- and one of them still needs both a pot and a name – so after I do that I’ll take pictures and post them here.

Next, I do have three days off coming up – though I’m supposed to show up for some additional training during one of them- so hopefully I can at least catch back up. I’ve already promised a stream for Tuesday [2019.05.29 @ 0300-0700 UTC] but I’ll try to get us back on track by at least streaming on Thursday [2019.05.31 @ 0300-0700 UTC] as usual. Won’t make any promises for Friday [2019.06.01 @ 0300-0700 UTC] but chances are pretty good.

If you have any questions- related to the story or not – this would be an excellent chance for you to stop by and ask. If you’re going to miss these or have missed my older streams, I do post them all to Youtube – usually a few days late, but they get there- so you can always go back to see what we were up to.

Finally- I have a nagging feeling I’m forgetting something important- we have our teaser for chapter, erm, one second.

Ah, chapter 86. Damn, I gave those out too fast, we’re almost caught up to my current chapter.

Oh well, you’ve waited patiently enough. Not like you’ll remember it by the time the chapter is posted.

Sasuke asks for a favor, Overseer Jirobo shows off his work, Naruto gets protective, and Anko finally receives her present.

That should do it for this update- I fucking know I’m forgetting something- so we’ll end it here. I need to get to bed.

Until I next have your attention,

Seems we’ll be doing this weekly, almost like a pre-chapter sort of thing, and that should be fine. I would like to do them more often but I’ve been strapped for time lately and it just wasn’t a priority when all I really had to talk about was finishing a single chapter.

Well, I say strapped for time but during the 2019.05.17 stream we ended up spending over an hour playing slots in Moxxi’s Bar. We’re going to go ahead and consider that “work” because I was streaming.

It’s how I’m justifying it, anyway.

Speaking of streaming, I typically stream every Friday at 0400-0700 UTC and on most Saturdays at the same time. For me that’s Thursday and Friday evenings but who knows what that might be for all of you.

This coming week will be a bit different because my boss is going on vacation so my schedule is a bit weird. I’ll be off Wednesday the 22nd and Tuesday the 28th. I’m not sure about the 28th, but I should definitely be able to stream on the 22nd (2019.05.23 at 0300 UTC). I’ll probably keep it something simple because I will have work the next morning- in fact, I may end up streaming earlier because of it- but we’ll see.

There should be no interruption to your regular chapter on Monday the 27th because of this.

If you miss a stream they are available on Twitch at or posted on my Youtube. I’d give you three guesses what my channel name is, but you probably don’t need them.

You may have noticed that there’s another post here today that isn’t an Update. I mentioned it in the Author’s Note of Chapter 80 but my Commentaries will contain responses to the feedback I receive over the week after posting a new chapter.

It helps keep the Chapters more tidy and allows me to make Author’s Notes as long as I like. My plan is to do these every week, but hopefully it won’t take two days like this last one did. Didn’t have much free time, which was the main reason, but I didn’t start Chapter 86 until Wednesday or Thursday because of it.

Couldn’t work on the next chapter when my mind was still on one of the earlier ones. Writing it down certainly helped.

Unlike Updates, I will not be announcing the posting of Commentaries. They’ll be mentioned with Chapter updates but should be available the day before on Sundays.

If you’re interested feel free to check them out, otherwise enjoy the more story-focused chapters. It should look a lot cleaner without my giant Author’s Notes taking up the first page.

With alternate media out of the way, let’s focus on the progress we’ve made over the week.

Chapter 86 of Sealkeeper is done, as you probably know, despite being started later than I would have liked. On Friday evening before the stream I did get to work writing more for the Tatsuki oneshot (though who knows, it might become an entire spinoff depending on how things go.) which I continued working on Saturday morning before work.

My seven new pages (Just shy of 3k words as I write this) flowed pretty easily and it was incredibly refreshing to be able to write without worrying about all the things the main story has in play right now.

If I’m to be completely honest, I probably could have posted what I wrote back in February of last year (some 1600 words) and been satisfied with it. Not the best ending, certainly, but there was just a rightness to it that had this sense of hope for the future. It had me grinning at my own brilliance, which is always fun.

The Warlock of Winterhold didn’t see any progress and neither did any of the other projects I have on my list- which I really should write down soon – but with the next chapter done, the commentary for last week’s chapter, and the progress I made in the Tatsuki oneshot I’m pretty satisfied.

Just wish I had more time to work on all of this.

And speaking of time, I still haven’t done my final inspection of the next chapter yet and there are plenty of mistakes in this update I need to correct so i can post it. With that in mind we need to wrap this up.

Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten what you’ve really come for — Chapter 85’s teaser.

Mai takes some chances, we meet two of the next generation Wolves, Mikoto contemplates the thought processes of plants, and Gaara writes a letter to his Tou-sama.

And there you have it, the May 20th Update. I was going to keep it the May 19th Update as I started it on the 19th but seeing as it’s technically morning now I’ll just go ahead and change the name.

Now, I’ve got a lot more work to do before I can enjoy a shower and collapse into bed.

Until I next have your attention,

It seems that I don’t have a whole lot to keep you all updated on now that we’ve managed to build up that reserve of chapters. Chapter 85 was finished this week and chapter 80 will be posted tomorrow morning.

I have managed to start getting work done on The Warlock of Winterhold but its’ not even the full first chapter yet. It’s been really strange working on something new but it also kind of refreshing.

Of course, I have to figure out why my Skyrim saves aren’t loading now and why I cant’ save new games. Hopefully I haven’t lost the game I was using for inspiration because that will be a huge setback.

Probably should have played through what I intended to write about first so that I had all the materials I’d need but it’s a little late for that. When I have more free time I’ll try to figure it out but what I have already should last me quite some time.

It will be taking a back seat this week, however, as once I finish chapter 86 — hopefully I can start it on my break — I’m going to try to put in more work to a very special project I’ve been slowly making progress on over the last two years or so.

Writing the Tatsuki oneshot is proving more difficult than I could have imagined. Overall I’d say it’s about a quarter of the way done, but I don’t know how long it will actually end up.

I also don’t know if I’ll post it before Sealkeeper ends.

Knowing the ending as I do, you may need something fluffy after getting through it. At the same time, it would be nice to have a completed work posted somewhere for you all to enjoy and I know you’ve all been eagerly anticipating this for quite some time.

When I do post it, however, I don’t think it will be to Instead, I’m considering posting it only here on the site. Not sure if that will be well received, but it just feels right to have that particular piece of work tucked safely away from the general community and somewhere only the readers of Sealkeeper– and I suppose any future works — can find it.

Going forward I’ll probably alternate between TWoW and the oneshot [Which I haven’t decided on the name yet, but am leaning towards “Ties that Bind” or “He Who Is Bound”] every week and hopefully I can have the oneshot done within a month or two. At the very latest I’d like to have it done by Sealkeeper’s fourth anniversary coming up in December.

Actually, posting it on the fourth anniversary is a tempting option too. I’ll have to keep that in mind.

Beyond those two projects I also need to prepare a 5E oneshot as my DM is busy with school and the rest of us are taking turns until his exams are over. When I get that done I might end up putting that on the site for others to use too.

I really need to write all these projects down, I haven’t even uploaded those story ideas to the folder yet and I was meaning to have that done like a month ago. There is just not enough time for me to get everything done these days.

If I cut back on time with Menoly, reducing it to only Thursday and Friday evenings during streams, and move my desk out of my room so I’m not as distracted I might be able to get more done but even then work just takes up so much of my time that I don’t think I’ll ever manage to get to everything I need to.

Well, not in the next two and a half years at least. By then my debt should be all paid off and I should have enough saved up for a down payment on a house.

Should everything go as planned my living expenses will be low enough that I could get a less time-demanding job which would really help because I’d much prefer to be doing this.

Probably a pipe dream, anyway. Even if I end up with the house I’ll probably just find myself taking on more work because I can’t not work.

I suppose I’ll come up with something eventually.

Maybe my own business so I can work on my writing between customers? It’s an attractive thought.

Enough about my lack of time, you’re here for the good stuff.

Like my Bonsai.

Look at her, growing like a weed. I’m thinking “Natasha” but I’m not sure it really fits her. Maybe I should wait until she starts showing color before thinking of anything.

It would also confirm which Bonsai is which, but I have a fairly good idea these days. And yes, I did have it backwards.

Her sister is also growing well, though she doesn’t seem to posses the same balance. I don’t think I’m rotating them frequently enough, so I’ll have to work on that.

I’ll need to change the soil sometime next month, too. Maybe I’ll find a pot for this one by then.

And now that we’ve covered the girls — Huh, I like the sound of that, actually — we can get to what you really want from this update-

The teaser.

If I recall, we’re up to chapter 84 for these so here we go.

Anko finally gets her reward, Mai contemplates godhood, Kushina can’t help her curiosity, and Naruto learns of Hayate’s death.

It’s probably the last scene of the chapter I like the most and I’m sure you can all guess why by now. Gods above I love causing my characters emotional anguish. There are few indulgences so sweet.

That’s all I have for this week so until I next have your attention,

Well, I’ve just come up with the end for chapter 83. It was nearly done for a while but I got distracted and, well, it got kind of weird. I don’t think it’s too out of place, but I certainly hadn’t planned on…actually, no. That’s chapter 83 so we’ll avoid talking about that for now.

Maybe in the next update. This update I’ll throw in a tidbit from 82, seeing as we covered 81 in the last and it’s been like four days.

With the completion of 83 we do have a solid five chapters in reserve which means I can start workign on that Skyrim story once I finish a week’s chapter. As I was getting two chapters and change done a week for a bit there, hopefully I can maintain a single chapter of Sealkeeper, make some progress in the new story- it needs a name still – I want to try, and dedicate a little more time to Menoly.

Then again, she does get quite a bit of attention already. So does Mydia and Muse when I think about it. Huh, maybe I’ll use that time for one of the other projects on my list. Speaking of that list, I should probably write it down at some point. Meh, I’ll get to it eventually. We’ll see how the writing goes first.

With the writing progress and planning covered, let’s focus on some of the other things’ I’m up to before I give you that little peak at chapter 82.

Actually, that almost exclusively means streaming because I don’t really do anything else besides videogames, writing, and work.

So, onto streaming!

Unfortunately something came up and SaintAngel22 wasn’t able to join in a game of Borderlands so instead Thursday’s stream was another session of Moon Hunters. Think I’m at like 10 hours already and I’m still enjoying it- and trying to figure out what the fuck I need to be doing differently- so we’ll probably continue visiting it pretty regularly. Friday’s stream was, well, an absolute mess.

We started by playing Risk of Rain 2 where MexViking- my DM, actually- joined us for three -I think it was three, maybe it was just two- doomed runs. Normally I can at least get to stage three but together we couldn’t get past stage two.

From there I ended up booting up the first Elder Scrolls game, Arena, but I couldn’t do it for long. Not only did something about it keep interrupting the stream and causing connection failures- though I can’t imagine how- but just looking at the world gave me a massive headache.

Daggerfall was the same -maybe I’m just spoiled- and Redguard, while better, felt incredibly strange to play and committed the grievous sin of not letting me randomly attack people. Could have booted up Battlespire but by then I was just done with DOS games.

We ended with some Morrowind, where everything except pests was able to slaughter me. Seriously, if it wasn’t a mudcrab or one of those larvae things it killed me. Managed a Guar right before I got off, but it took almost all my life.

Really need to find some armor and a sword that does some damage.

I do want to continue with Elder Scrolls games so while my plan of starting with Arena and working my way through them all may have been tossed aside because I lack the necessary willpower to slog through it I will try to get through Morrowind and Oblivion. Skyrim will have to wait until I’ve finished the story – and maybe that adventure will become a second story in the future- but the other two games should provide plenty of time for that, especially if I alternate between them and Moon Hunters.

But with that covered it’s time for your treat-

That’s right, you get the pleasure of seeing the progress of my lovely little Bonsai. And the other one, I suppose.

We’ll start with the lesser-

And then move on to the one your really want to see. She still needs a name, but I haven’t been able to come up with anything good yet.

I suppose you want that little glimpse into chapter 82 as well, don’t you? Fine, I suppose I can give you something.

Let’s see;

Sai shows why he’s in command, Team Seven receives their first mission, and Anko gets stabby.

Yes, that should work nicely.

Well, that should about to it for this update.

Until I next have your attention,

Has it really been almost a week since my last update? Whoops. Time seems to be flying lately and I’m not entirely sure why. Luckily, that flying time doesn’t seem to have impacted my writing too much.

Chapter 82 is “done” at some 90-something percent (96%, if i recall.) because I couldn’t come up with some short ending scene for it. Chapter 83 is at 20% while I write this and needs to be at least 40% complete by the end of the day if I want to have any chance in hell of getting it done on time- which would be by the end of tomorrow. technically i have until Monday to have it done, but that doesn’t leave me any time for that Skyrim story before I start working on chapter 84.

Normally wouldn’t be too much trouble- especially because a meeting I had scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled- but I actually have other things planned tomorrow, which is weird.

My Genasi Warlock needs to carve more eyes into the flesh of his enemies tomorrow morning and I’ll be streaming Thursday night. This has become semi-regular at this point, but SaintAngel22 -the only person to say anything on the stream other than Supernowy- should be joining the stream tomorrow as we play Borderlands on the PS4. Not sure if it will be Borderlands 2 or the Pre-Sequel and I’ve never actually streamed from the PS4 so I guess we’re winging it again.

Seems to be working thus far, we’ll keep it up until improv fails us. Shouldn’t be too long now.

Then again, we haven’t actually talked about it since he was downloading the game a week ago- should be done by now, I think- so maybe that will end up being Friday instead.

When I do get a chance to try the Skyrim fic in the next few days, I’m not sure what the update schedule might be or if I’ll even have one. I could do it as chapters are finished, wait until that story is done and just post the whole thing, or adapt the same strategy I’ve been using for Sealkeeper.

It would probably help if I knew how long it was going to end up being- or if, you know, I actually knew what I would be covering throughout the story- but I guess I’ll have more insight towards that by Monday the 29th. If all goes well hopefully I can mention it in chapter 78’s AN.

Bonsai’s still doing very well- she needs a name- so I’ll probably post another picture of her in the next update.

And speaking of updates, the April 16th Update [And I’ll be honest with you, I considered linking it there but decided it was too much work so I spent time typing this instead when I could have already had it done by now.] gave a little teaser about chapter 80 which I like the thought of.

With that in mind, let’s throw you another little scrap from one of the chapters I have done. Yeah, don’t forget that I have a stack of chapters already complete just sitting here waiting to be read. Things have already happened in the story and you won’t have any idea for weeks.

Kukukukukuku, it’s good to be God.

Now, before I end up loosing myself to one of my ego’s powertrips, here’s a little insight into chapter 81;

We meet the Wolf who’s been so helpfully expanding the apartment, the fathers of Otogakure’s future Hyuuga and Uchiha clans pass eachother in a hallway, and we see the results of Anko’s uniform request.

Hmm, that was actually a lot more detailed than the snipit about chapter 80 and yet it’s told you just about nothing.

Even better than the fact that I have all these chapters ready is the fact that I’ve started giving insight to chapters further away so that by the time you read the chapter you’ll have forgotten and won’t remember until you read the part I had mentioned.

It’s fantastic.

Well, that should about to it for now. I need to go work on chapter 83.

Hopefully I’ll see you during tomorrow’s stream but I’ll definitely see you on Monday for chapter 78. Remember to follow me on Twitter @Eyazharid [And Twitch too if you feel like it, I suppose] and to visit back regularly for more updates.

I’m usually a lot better at keeping these pretty frequent. It was the whole point of the site, after all.

Until I next have your attention,

Alright, so as I start writing this chapter 81 has been completed which means we’re still on schedule.

As long as we can keep this up I’ll be writing that Skyrim story in about a week and I have to admit I’m kind of looking forward to something new.

We’ll just have to see how it goes.

There wasn’t too much I actually wanted to mention in this update- or, that I could remember at least- so this update will mostly be focused around Kurenai and what my plans for her in Sealkeeper had actually been.

Before that, a quick shoutout to the unnamed guest who wanted to know if Naruto had gotten with anybody yet before they started to read the story again. I’d love to tell you, mate, but it may be a bit hard when you’ve given me no way to contact you and aren’t currently reading the story.

Best of luck with that response.

I’ll probably think of something else I wanted to mention later, so let’s just head straight for the interesting bit.

The Lost Kurenai Arc

Kurenai was one of the first characters mentioned within the story- back in chapter one- and was focused on pretty regularly in the first fifteen or so chapters, but as the story progressed she ended up fading into the background for the most part.

That had not been the intention.

The idea I had for Kurenai involves an area I’ve never really seen explored- her backstory. Where did she come from? Who are her parents? Why do most writers make her hate men?

So I set about creating something. Nothing too complicated, of course- she wasn’t supposed to be a major character- but just enough to satisfy my need to have explanations for things.

The plan was to provide most of the information during a story arc that would follow team 8 for a few chapters and resulted in Kurenai meeting some less than savory people from her past. To keep the story from dragging on, however, it had to be cut and I don’t see any good way to bring it back in.

Instead of telling you what my plans for the delivery of this backstory was, I’ll go straight to the backstory.

A quick little disclaimer- I don’t actually know what her cannon backstory is, or if she even has one, so whatever I say next may not fit with cannon at all.

I don’t rightly care.

Onto the backstory.

Kurenai was born to a minor bandit lord and his unconsensual “wife”. Her mother died in childbirth, much to his irritation, but on a whim he decided to keep her child and see what they would become.

Just as I intended to gloss over and hint towards things in the actual arc, I will not be going into detail about her early life here. Suffice to say, she was not treated well by her father or her father’s men.

She eventually managed to run away, making it to Konohagakure no Sato where Uzumaki Kushina helped her create a new life for herself. She entered into the Shinobi Academy and was eventually placed on a team under Kushina, who became something akin to a mother for her.

Due to her experiences as a young girl, she hated all men with a passion but learned to interact with them in Konoha as a necessity. She remained cold to each one of them and reacted viciously to any attempt to get closer to her.

Because she was so used to being on guard around men, it came at great surprise that her Sensei’s boyfriend- one Namikaze Minato- made her feel safe in his presence. Being both distrusting of men and a Genjutsu prodigy she initially assumed it was some sort of illusion or technique designed to cause targets to let down their guard.

She had attacked the Hokage-to-be without hesitation, much to Kushina’s amusement and his own confusion. Being faster than her, however, he was able to avoid her attacks without issue. As time went on she began to trust him more but would still occasionally lash out on instinct due to the strange feelings she got from being around him.

When her Sensei eventually gave birth, she learned that Minato wasn’t the only male she didn’t feel uncomfortable around. Unfortunately, that meant that like his father he would cause her instincts to scream that she was in danger.

She managed to avoid harming him but took to keeping her distance whenever possible to avoid risking it.

During the arc she was supposed to take her team on a C-rank bandit extermination mission where she ended up encountering her father for the first time in over a decade. With the chance to finally confront the source of her childhood trauma and put the past behind her, she was supposed to find it easier to be around men and that she was much more comfortable around Naruto.

Unfortunately this never actually happened, so instead Kurenai is just crazy during the first dozen chapters and magically appears later in the story more akin to a relaxed cannon version.

Looking back, it wasn’t a very good idea- and don’t get me started on the execution of it- but this is what I had in the back of my mind whenever I was writing her.

I believe she appears again in the next chapter- or the one after that, I can’t quite recall- so I do hope this can help the few of you who check it out to understand what was going on with her.

We’ll leave things here for now, until I sit down one day and somehow incorporate this into a different story.

Until I next have your attention,

Well, that didn’t go to plan.

I ended up sleeping in way later than I had been anticipating so I rushed to work and only had time to type a few paragraphs. Still, I’m writing this just after finishing chapter 80 so definitely some good news.

I say “finished”, but technically it’s only at 96%. I finished a scene and realized I couldn’t add anything after it without destroying the mood I had set. More like stumbled upon, really, but what really matters is that it was there.

I also immediately typed up the next scene for chapter 81 and have that at 5.84% so it’s all there, just not all in one chapter. It’s like DLC, but free!

You just have to wait.

My proposed schedule for chapters is in tatters, so I’ll whip up a new one and hope I can stick to it. Chapter 76 was just posted earlier- yesterday, by the time I’m writing this- so I need chapter 82 done by April 22nd in order to have five chapters after posting 77.

This seems, well, entirely doable actually. Huh, I think we’ve made it.

Chapter 81 needs to be done by the 18th and chapter 82 can be finished on the 22nd at the latest which means that if everything goes to plan I’ll be having chapter 83 done by the 25th and be able to use the 26th, 27th, and 28th to start that Skyrim story.

Damn, writing something new? I don’t know if I’m more excited at the idea or terrified that its’ going to be a horrible mistake. Should entertain you lot either way, I suppose.

I had been wanting to include a little discussion- I say that, but with just me talking it’s more of a lecture- about Kurenai and what my plans had been for her and her story but I really need to get to bed. So, on the next update I’ll include it so you can all see what my intentions had actually been.

You know, because you’ll never actually see them in the story at this point.

Anyways, because I’m not able to include that I will give you something else as, well, a consolation prize I suppose.

First, we have a picture of my lovely little Bonsai.

As you can see, she’s taken to the new soil very well. The other one hasn’t really changed at all but I don’t really mind because this one here is my favorite.

You know, if the fact that I actually gave this one a pot wasn’t enough indication.

The second thing I’m going to share with you all is something you’ll probably appreciate much more- the most vague, uninformative spoilers I can come up with.

Chapter 80 ends with Mai’s return but she still hasn’t settled things with Naruto at all.

And we’ll keep that our little secret, yeah? A reward for those of you who actually read these. See? There is a reason to keep up to date with Eyazahrid.

Now if only Eyazahrid could get his shit together and provide them more regularly.

Only a few more things to mention here.

First, thanks goes to the lovely nameless person who pointed out that one of my April updates had been titled as a March update.

Think I’ve fixed that- which means I couldn’t find it when I went to go check Twitter- and I’ll try to be a bit more vigilant in the future.

Thank you very much for bringing that to my attention.

The next thing I want to mention is that I did indulge Menoly on Thursday and Friday by spending a few hours playing some of the games I’ve been meaning to get to.

Because I was already not writing, I figured giving you the option to watch me procrastinate was only fair. I believe a few of you stopped by- including SaintAngel22 whom I spent both streams chatting with- but most of you were scared- or bored- away pretty quickly.

I suppose that’s fair, I’m a much better writer than speaker and I’m pants at live entertainment.

If you missed it and want to check out either stream they should be available at Not sure how long they’ll be there- I should probably check- but I’ll try to have them posted permanently somewhere.

You know, eventually.

I believe that about does it for this update so we’ll bring it to a close.

Until I next have your attention,

I just finished chapter 78 a few minutes ago- though I suppose there’s one more scene I could add- at 110%. It’s a little behind my goal of having it done on the fifth, which means it’s going to be an absolute bitch to get chapter 79 done by the ninth. In fact, it probably won’t happen, but I’ll still do my damnedest to make it so.

I’ll blame most of my lack of progress on Friday, when I had a whole bunch of time but Muse had wanted some quiet time for her own projects. Didn’t get much done that day and I was banking on getting most of the work done then.

Despite the setback, I’ll be posting chapter 75 in about eight hours. This one should be fun but I’m really looking forward to the responses for chapter 76. Together, well, I’m expecting a virtual mob.

I was going to add more but I’m exhausted and need to get to bed, so we’ll probably just end this here for today. Next time I’ll add another picture of my Bonsai, it’s been doing very well with the new soil.

Oh, before I forget, I did try Risk of Rain 2 recently- only for about an hour and a half, so you can’t blame the lack of progress on Menoly- and when I’ve caught back up I’ll probably be getting back on. I’m thinking I may end up streaming it, so keep an eye out for an announcement sometime in the next few days.

There will definitely be a tweet about it, but depending on when I do it I may mention it in an update too.

Ah, another thing I almost forgot. According to the stats I have here behind the scenes, two people ended up clicking on adds- or one person twice- which gave value to all the other views for April 6th. It wasn’t much, but every bit helps so who ever you are you have my gratitude.

There, that should be everything. I’ll see you all in chapter 75 and again in my next update.

Until I next have your attention,

Way overdue for this, but I finally have an update for you.

Chapter 77 has been completed and chapter 78 is at 25%. Chapter 75 will be posted on April 8th as planned. I should finish chapter 78 by the end of tomorrow, which makes my goal for 79 to be no later than April 9th.

Chapter 80 should be done by April 12th and 81 on the 16th, the day after 76 goes live. Then, on Friday April 19th when I finish chapter 82- should everything go as planned- I will be five chapters ahead for Sealkeeper and can begin work on that Skyrim story.

The plan is to keep it shorter [25-50k words] and turn it into a smaller series, but we’ll see how that goes.

I’ve come up with another project recently- yeah, another to add to the list- because several of you have taken up my offer of aid in your own writing. I am very pleased to be able to assist others with their writing and do my part in keeping the Fanfiction community alive, so thank you for providing me with the opportunity.

The idea for this project is pretty simple, I want to gather all the advice I’ve been giving and compile it into a single document to have here on the site for anyone to make use of. Being me, I’ll probably have to give it an appropriately dramatic name, though.

Probably something like “The Laws of Eyazahrid” or something. We’ll see.

Who knows, maybe I’ll start posting life advice or try to create a religion on the site next.

Eyazahridism doesn’t flow very well, so I might have to work on that.

I’ll come up with something.

While it’s another project for the to-do list, I have knocked one of the other items off. Available [here] I have the Naruto Timeline I mentioned wanting to do in one of my recent Updates.

It’s not the oldest thing on the list, but at least my new project hasn’t made the poor thing any larger. I really need to get to the rest of those projects, I just don’t have the time.

I want to make sure I mention it here too, but the original timeline is not mine. This is a very basic edit of QuakingStar‘s timeline available on the Naruto Wiki.

With that said, I think I’ve spent enough time on things that aren’t writing chapter 78, so you’d probably appreciate it if I got back to that.

Until I next have your attention,

Chapter 76 is done- and I cant’t wait to see how everyone reacts to 75 and 76, Kukukukukuku- so I should be starting 77 later today.

Or tomorrow when I work 4 hours after the meeting we have. Lovely.

This laptop I got back in November really has made it much easier for me to find time to write and is probably the biggest factor in providing you all with regular updates.

But you didn’t come here for updates on my writing- well, actually you probably did- because what you really care about are random thing’s I’ve thrown in here

Other than the fact that on March 25th we got an absurd amount of views- and I don’t know how or why, unfortunately, so I can’t do it again yet- there hasn’t been all that much going on with the site and I just spoke about Asuma a few days ago.

In fact, that was probably the 25th. It may be related, but who knows. Didn’t actually get any feedback from “On Godaime Asuma” either, as I recall, so I have no idea what people actually thought about it.

Well, if those views are anything to go by it was received well, but I’m also pretty damn sure most of the views were just to the home page so may be not.

Regardless, let’s get into the things you really want to see.

Like my Bonsai again.

Was changing the soil yesterday because it’s been like three months and i decided to make use of the Christmas gift I received from my sister. That should be the Jacaranda Mimosifolia based on the marker, but I’m pretty damn sure it’s actually Delonix Regia.

Despite being the smaller of the two, it’s roots were much longer and I think I lost a fourth of them in the old soil.

Seems to be okay though- I suppose we’ll know for sure in a week or so- which is good because it’s my favorite of the two.

You’d probably prefer pictures of my cat, but I’m saving those as a last resort because despite having very little story-related for the update I do have more I can ramble about-

Like the results from last nights tweets.

Fifteen or so games over a period of almost three hours and I managed a single kill because I got the last shot in.

We got our asses whooped.

Which was to be expected. I’d never played before and my BR experience is three matches of Fortnite when it first came out. XExplodedKarrotX was with me the whole time and we had two other coworkers jump in with us.

Together, I think we got some 4 kills.

Yeah, we’re not the greatest. Didn’t help that it was like three matches in that I figured out running. Turns out the left analog stick on my Dualshock is damaged so I could move but it wouldn’t continue running. Luckily I had a spare controller, which helped a lot.

Overall, I’d say Apex isn’t a bad game. It felt a lot better then Fortnite and went very smoothly, but I’m not sure how I feel about either dying instantly to someone who got a gun first or spending twelve minutes without seeing anyone just for them to flank you.

Didn’t get much combat experience last night.

Did catch plenty of bullets to the side of my skull.

Did boot it back up earlier to play with randoms.

Performed a lot better, actually, when the jumpmaster actually directed us to our chosen location and not into a swarm of three squads away from all the loot.

That match didn’t last long.

They didnt’ have mics, either, so I am seeing a direct coralation there.

I’ll probably get back on for a bit (Playstation, if you missed it) and then move on t oeither my Season 16 Necromancer in Diablo or boot up a ‘Shits ‘n’ Giggles’ Skyrim game. [You know, one I’m not making notes with for my eventual story].

Will probably just go around slaughtering everyone and everything with a character named “Death”. Then again, I have been meanign to get back into ESO and I did just purchase Risk of Rain 2, so maybe one of those.

Huh, Melony is getting quite a bit of attention today.

I’ll try to spend time with Muse -my third mistress- starting chapter 77 later today but I’m not sure how likely that is. Have to get to bed early so I can be up for our meeting tomorrow. Well, I call it a ‘meeting’ but its’ actually two hours of training for the entire store.

Ending this here so I can get back to killing things, but I’ll see you all next time.

Until I next have your attention,
