While my plans to use my vacation to catch up on chapters have fallen to bits, I would consider this last week to have been pretty successful.
All my past streams- the ones that went well, anyway, have been posted to Youtube finally [I was pretty far behind] and I posted some story ideas to the Project Board.
Of course, I still haven’t figured out why changing the color of the text isn’t working and its’ showing black on black, but I’ve been tweaking it in an effort to make it at least usable. Pity, because I really liked the color scheme I had set up.
Should be readable now, so feel free to check out those three story ideas I had but haven’t gotten around to yet. Well, I kind of did. Those three are from the pile where I was so excited about the idea that I started typing them up but never finished them. It should provide a good idea as to what I was going for or, at the very least, perhaps provide some inspiration for my fellow authors.
They’re not long, a scene or two at the most, but those three are some of my favorite ideas. That I typed up, at least. I have pages of physical notes I have to sort through still, I just haven’t had the time.
That should do it for the project board, though, so let’s move on.
We finally finished chapter 89 – I keep switching between “I” and “We” I’ve noticed. If that bothers you let me know, I just realized how strange it is – and I did get stated on chapter 90. It’s at 10%, but progress is progress.
Streams went well on Thursday and Friday, both days being Minecraft which I really need to remove from the Poll, and again earlier today with my unplanned Dauntless stream. Had a lot of fun with that one and we met Bones and Will who may be showing up in future streams of Dauntless. I hope so, at least. It’s been pretty easy to jump into the game with randoms in co-op but it always feels better to have a set party.
Depending on how things go- and it’s looking good because I’m really liking the game- I may end up making a guild in it. Or maybe that’s just for Epic. Either way, if you guys want to see more of it let me know and if you want to join during a future stream or would be interested in being part of a clan I make then definitely let me know.
I’ve said it before, but I want to make more than just Sealkeeper, I want to make a community. Of course, Sealkeeper is more or less my flagship at the moment- the UNSC Beautiful Tragedy – but there are plenty more projects to tackle after it’s done.
Nothing else to really cover under my projects, so I’ll show you one more thing I accomplished during my vacation and then talk about what i’m doing now.
If you follow me on Twitter- and you should- then you’re probably aware that I was cleaning the Command Center the other day. While it was all nice and pretty I decided I’d take a few pictures so you can see where all the magic- and misery- comes from.
This picture shows it all pretty well, but as I took more pictures I might as well share ’em.
And one more.
Erm, nevermind. Despite being saved completely normally to the site, it keeps showing up here sideways and doesn’t give me the option of rotating it. I guess I’ll have to show you my desk some other time.
Oh, who wants to see a desk? You’re all here for pictures of the Bonsai. Unfortunately I neglected to take some on my way out the door today so you’ll just have to settle for this picture of me in my hotel room.
Enjoy, it’s the most you’ll see of me for a very long time.
Unless I win the lottery or something, in which case I won’t have to worry about supporting myself and won’t really care if I become known for saying or doing something stupid on the internet. Until then, however, you have this.
Feel free to print it up and put it on your wall, I understand. It really is a handsome logo.
Oh, yeah, changed the logo. You probably noticed already but I should probably talk about it.
I changed the logo.
Well, I changed the color scheme and will probably continue to play with it as time passes, but the icon itself isn’t likely to change.
And with that I think we’ll call it an Update.
I’m going to go visit the casino now, wish me luck.
Until I next have your attention,
